Emily Nease, MD, NABBLM-C, FAAP

Emily K. Nease MD, NABBLM-C, FAAP is a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh specializing in General Pediatrics. Dr. Nease is a board-certified Pediatrician and board-certified Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine physician through the North American Board of Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine (NABBLM). Her areas of interest include newborn care, Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine (BFLM), and graduate medical education. Dr. Nease has served as the Chair of the Planning Committee for the annual WV AAP Children’s Healthcare Summit since 2023. She is also a member of the AAP Section on Breastfeeding and serves as an AAP Chapter Breastfeeding Coordinator for West Virginia.
