Bio: Collin John, MD

Collin John, MD, MPH, FAAP

Collin John, MD MPH is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the West Virginia University School of Medicine.  He completed his medical degree, masters in public health degree and a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at West Virginia University.  Dr. John has been heavily involved in the West Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics by helping to foster trainee involvement.  He has done this through his role as the moderator of the annual  Resident Research Competition as well as his role as the moderator and host of the annual Brainiatrics Quiz Bowl competition between Marshall, WVU CAMC, and WVU Morgantown.  He is excited to bring his enthusiasm and public health expertise to the chapter as a board member.  In his spare time, he thrives on doing crossword puzzles, long biking trips, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter.
